Scott started dancing at the age of five and at sixteen he went to the London Studio Centre with a scholarship to finish his training. Scott’s professional career began working on many theatre productions, including Trade & Fashion Shows, a world tour of Carmen and shows for the Walt Disney that have taken him to places as far apart as America, Paris and Dubai. Some of his television credits include The Royal Variety Performance, The Princes Royal Gala, Comic Relief, The Disney Kids Awards, and The Brits Awards dancing and working alongside artists such as Robbie Williams, Westlife, Atomic Kitten, S-Club 7, Boyzone, Shirley Bassey, Barry Manilow and many more. Scott has also danced in adverts for Sainsbury’s, The Halifax, Discovery Card and Coca-Cola.

Scott is an experienced choreographer, and his diverse range of dance styles have allowed him to create hundreds of unique routines for Makin’ Steps, as well as a long list of dance displays and corporate events. These recently have included providing the entertainment for Harlow Councils – Chairman’s Ball, hair shows for Avant-Garde & Wella and Edies Butterfly Appeal. Other choreography credits include Channel 4’s “The Hoobs”, girl band NEXUS including their first video “Tell Me”, promo choreography for Rapper Raghav including his debut performance for Top of the Pops, two shows for the Dubai shopping festival in conjunction with the Makin‘ Steps agency, numerous Pantomimes and shows for various local productions.

Scott is a qualified teacher with the I.S.T.D at the level of Fellowship and at Makin‘Steps teaches street dance, tap, audition technique and FBI. He also taught at Harlow College, Arts Ed, Colin’s Performing Arts, Burnt Mill School, Bishops Stortford Collage & at numerous workshops throughout the year.

Scott is very proud to be a part of Makin’ Steps and has seen many of the schools pupils go on to further their careers in the entertainment business. Giving back to our pupils the knowledge and experience that he has gained over the past years is something that he is very passionate about, and is blessed to be doing a job which he loves.
